Goal Setting Guide

Are you like me? You set a goal with full intention of achieving it but a day, week or month goes by and the hype of it all passes leaving you stuck in your old habits/routine?

I can not tell you how many times I’ve set personal, professional, relationship, financial goals you name it I’ve set it and FAILED! But what? What if I change my mindset around not accomplishing the goals to see that I didn’t fail rather I learned a lot about myself in that moment. I learned that the goal I set did not mean as much to me as I thought it did.

Think about it. If you’ve set a goal to save $100 every paycheck then each time that check hits your bank account you’re online buying a new outfit for the weekend. FAIL

Or maybe you’ve set a goal every year to lose weight and you give it your damn best but darn it, the cookies keep jumping in your mouth and the gym is closed 24/7 (well at least that’s what happening in your world).

Seriously, when you set goals that you don’t connect with and that don’t motivate you to truly grow into the person you want to become you’re NEVER going to see them through.

That’s why I put together my goal setting sheet I personally complete each quarter of the year to ensure I’m aligned with my personal vision and I’m accomplishing the things that will move me forward.
